Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon red food coloring
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract for frosting

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients.
  6. Mix in red food coloring until well combined.
  7. Scoop dough into a greased muffin tin.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
  9. Let cool completely.
  10. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla for frosting.
  11. Pipe frosting into cooled cookie cups.
