Description

Delicious red velvet cake pops coated in chocolate.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box red velvet cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 container cream cheese frosting
  • 1 cup chocolate melting wafers
  • Sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare cake mix according to package instructions.
  3. Bake the cake for 30 minutes and let it cool.
  4. Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl.
  5. Add cream cheese frosting and mix until combined.
  6. Form mixture into small balls and place on a baking sheet.
  7. Chill cake balls in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  8. Melt chocolate wafers in a microwave.
  9. Dip the end of a lollipop stick into the melted chocolate and insert it into each cake ball.
  10. Coat each cake pop in melted chocolate and add sprinkles.
  11. Let them set on wax paper until chocolate hardens.

Notes

  • Store in the refrigerator for up to a week.
  • You can use different colors of melting chocolate.
