- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
- In a bowl, mix blueberries, sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla.
- Cut the puff pastry into squares.
- Add a spoonful of blueberry mixture to the center of each square.
- Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling and seal.
- Brush with egg wash.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh blueberries for best flavor.
- Make sure the pastry is cold when working with it.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
