Description

Soft and fluffy poppy seed yeast rolls.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons poppy seeds

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add melted butter, sugar, and egg to the yeast mixture.
  3. In another bowl, mix flour, salt, and poppy seeds.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients. Knead the dough until smooth.
  5. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  6. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Shape the dough into rolls and place them on a baking sheet.
  8. Let the rolls rise for another 30 minutes.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
