Description

Crispy polenta fries that are gluten free and perfect as a snack or side dish.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups polenta
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil water and salt in a pot.
  2. Slowly add polenta, stirring constantly.
  3. Cook for 15 minutes until thick, stirring continuously.
  4. Stir in olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, and cheese.
  5. Spread polenta in a greased baking dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  6. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  7. Cut polenta into fry shapes.
  8. Place fries on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.

Notes

  • Use parchment paper for easier cleanup.
