A delicious dessert made with fresh plums and apples topped with a crumbly mixture.
Ingredients

- 4 cups of plums, pitted and sliced
- 2 cups of apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1 cup of rolled oats
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced plums and apples.
- Add half of the brown sugar to the fruit and mix well.
- In another bowl, mix the remaining brown sugar, flour, oats, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Spread the fruit mixture in a baking dish.
- Top with the crumble mixture evenly.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until the topping is golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
- Use any variety of apples as desired.
- Add nuts for extra crunch if you like.
