Description

A hearty breakfast casserole with the flavors of a Philly cheesesteak.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 8 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups shredded provolone cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 4 cups cubed bread

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and bell pepper until the beef is browned.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  4. Add the beef mixture and cubed bread to the egg mixture and stir well.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  6. Top with shredded provolone cheese.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until set and golden.
