Description
A flavorful and tender pepper steak made in a crock pot.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds of flank steak, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup of beef broth
- 1/4 cup of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Brown the flank steak on both sides.
- Transfer the steak to the crock pot.
- Add bell pepper, onion, and garlic on top of the steak.
- In a bowl, mix beef broth, soy sauce, and cornstarch.
- Pour the mixture over the steak and vegetables.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Stir before serving.
Notes
- Serve over rice or noodles.
- You can add other vegetables like mushrooms or carrots.
- Adjust seasoning to your preference.
