Description

A simple dessert that combines pecan pie and cake in one dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, mix the melted butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla, then stir until combined.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle the cake mix evenly over the top.
