Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, butter, sugar, and salt until crumbly.
  3. Press the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together brown sugar, corn syrup, eggs, and vanilla.
  6. Stir in chopped pecans.
  7. Pour the filling over the baked crust.
  8. Bake for an additional 25-30 minutes.
  9. Cool before cutting into bars.
