Description

Peach pie bars are a delicious dessert that combines the flavors of fresh peaches with a buttery crust.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Add melted butter and combine until crumbly.
  4. Press half of the mixture into the bottom of a greased baking pan.
  5. In another bowl, toss peaches with lemon juice and cornstarch.
  6. Spread the peach mixture over the crust.
  7. Top with the remaining crumb mixture.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let cool before cutting into bars.
