Ingredients

- 8 ounces orecchiette pasta
- 1 pound Italian sausage, casings removed
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Cook orecchiette according to package instructions.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add sausage and cook until browned.
- Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 1 minute.
- Add broccoli and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.
- Drain orecchiette and add to skillet.
- Toss to combine and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve topped with Parmesan cheese.
Notes
- Use spicy or mild sausage based on your preference.
- For a vegan option, substitute sausage with plant-based meat.
