Description

A simple and flavorful one pot chicken orzo dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add diced chicken and cook until browned.
  3. Add onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Sauté until softened.
  4. Stir in orzo, chicken broth, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
  6. Fluff orzo with a fork and garnish with parsley before serving.
