A healthy and delicious oil-free hummus recipe.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
Instructions
- In a food processor, combine chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, and salt.
- Blend until smooth.
- Add water gradually until desired consistency is reached.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Serve with fresh vegetables or whole grain pita.
Notes
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to a week.
- Can add spices like paprika or cayenne for extra flavor.
- Great as a dip or spread.
