Description

A healthy and easy recipe for oat breakfast bars that are both vegan and gluten free.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup mashed banana (about 2 large bananas)
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup raisins or chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the oats, mashed banana, almond butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Fold in the raisins or chocolate chips.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly in a greased baking pan.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Let cool, then cut into bars.
