Ingredients

  • 2 cups of cubed bread
  • 1 cup of chopped mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup of chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup of chopped celery
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon of dried sage
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 cup of vegetable broth

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add onion and celery; sauté until soft.
  4. Add mushrooms and cook until tender.
  5. Stir in thyme, sage, salt, and pepper.
  6. In a large bowl, combine the sautéed mixture with cubed bread.
  7. Pour in vegetable broth and mix well.
  8. Transfer to a baking dish and cover with foil.
  9. Bake for 30 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
