Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 12 mozzarella cheese sticks
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Prepare the workspace with three bowls: one for flour, one for beaten eggs, and one for breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
- Dip each mozzarella stick in flour, then in eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Place the coated sticks on a baking sheet and freeze for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot over medium heat.
- Fry the mozzarella sticks in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve warm with marinara sauce.
Notes
- Freezing the sticks helps them maintain shape while frying.
- You can use different types of cheese if desired.
