Description

A delightful twist on classic Rice Krispie treats with mint and chocolate.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 package (10 oz) mini marshmallows
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 teaspoon mint extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup green food coloring

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large pot over low heat.
  2. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
  3. Remove from heat and mix in mint extract and food coloring.
  4. Add Rice Krispies and stir until well coated.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Press mixture into a greased 9×13 inch pan.
  7. Let cool before cutting into squares.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container.
  • Can substitute dark chocolate chips for a richer flavor.
  • Adjust food coloring for desired shade of green.
