Description

Mini Lahmacun Bites are small Turkish flatbreads topped with a flavorful meat mixture.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 200 grams ground lamb or beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tomato, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, salt, and sugar.
  2. Add warm water and olive oil. Knead into a dough.
  3. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  4. In a pan, cook onion until soft. Add ground meat and cook until browned.
  5. Add tomato, tomato paste, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes.
  6. Roll out dough and cut into small circles.
  7. Top each circle with the meat mixture.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for 10-12 minutes.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

  • Use minced lamb for a more authentic flavor.
  • Adjust spices to your taste.
