Ingredients
- Mini onions – 10
- All-purpose flour – 1 cup
- Cornstarch – 1/2 cup
- Beer – 1 cup
- Baking powder – 1 tsp
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Paprika – 1 tsp
- Black pepper – 1/2 tsp
- Oil for frying – 2 cups
Instructions
- Peel the mini onions and trim the tops.
- Mix flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, paprika, and black pepper in a bowl.
- Slowly add beer to the dry ingredients to form a batter.
- Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
- Dip each onion in the batter, letting excess drip off.
- Carefully place the onions in hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve with dipping sauce.

- Make sure the oil is hot before frying.
- Use a thermometer for accurate oil temperature.
