Ingredients
- Egg whites: 4 large
- Granulated sugar: 1 cup (200 g)
- Cornstarch: 1 teaspoon
- White vinegar: 1 teaspoon
- Heavy whipping cream: 1 cup (240 ml)
- Powdered sugar: 2 tablespoons
- Vanilla extract: 1 teaspoon
- Fresh strawberries: 1 cup, hulled and halved
- Fresh blueberries: 1 cup
- Fresh raspberries: 1 cup
- Fresh mint leaves: for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a clean mixing bowl, beat the egg whites until soft peaks form, then gradually add the granulated sugar.
- Increase the speed to high and beat until glossy and stiff peaks form.
- Dollop or pipe the meringue onto the prepared parchment paper, creating small rounds with indentations in the center.
- Bake for 1 hour, then turn off the oven and let the pavlovas cool inside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract, then beat until soft peaks form.
- Once cooled, assemble the pavlovas by adding whipped cream and topping with fresh berries. Garnish with mint leaves if desired.
