Description

A deliciously moist and flavorful marbled banana bread made without any animal products.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine mashed bananas, almond milk, vegetable oil, brown sugar, and vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
  5. Divide the batter in half. Mix cocoa powder into one half.
  6. In a greased loaf pan, alternate layers of banana and chocolate batter.
  7. Swirl with a knife for a marbled effect.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let cool before slicing.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container.
  • Can be frozen for up to 3 months.
  • Feel free to add nuts or chocolate chips if desired.
