Description

Delicious sticky buns topped with maple syrup and pecans.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  2. In a saucepan, heat milk and butter until warm.
  3. Add warm milk mixture and egg to dry ingredients; mix until combined.
  4. Knead dough for 5 minutes, then let it rise for 1 hour.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Roll out dough and spread melted butter on top.
  7. Sprinkle brown sugar, pecans, and maple syrup over dough.
  8. Roll dough tightly and cut into pieces.
  9. Place pieces in a greased baking dish.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Drizzle with extra maple syrup before serving.
