Description

Ingredients

  • Fresh carrots: 1 lb (about 450 g), peeled and cut into uniform pieces.
  • Pure maple syrup: 1/4 cup (60 ml).
  • Olive oil: 2 tablespoons (30 ml).
  • Sea salt: 1 teaspoon (5 g).
  • Black pepper: 1/2 teaspoon (2 g).
  • Fresh thyme: 2 teaspoons.

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Peel the fresh carrots and cut them into uniform pieces, about 2 to 3 inches long.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the pure maple syrup, olive oil, sea salt, black pepper, and fresh thyme. Whisk until well blended.
  4. Add the prepared carrot pieces to the bowl and toss to coat evenly. Spread the carrots in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
