Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar for glaze
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup for glaze

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine milk, maple syrup, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla.
  4. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let cool and prepare the glaze.
  8. Mix powdered sugar and maple syrup until smooth.
  9. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled bars.
