- 2 cups fresh blueberries
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pie crust
- 1 tablespoon butter, cut into small pieces
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine blueberries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and vanilla extract.
- Mix until blueberries are evenly coated.
- Place the pie crust in a pie dish.
- Pour the blueberry mixture into the crust.
- Dot with butter pieces on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the filling is bubbly and crust is golden.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Serve with whipped cream or ice cream for added flavor.
- Can substitute frozen blueberries if fresh are not available.
