Description

Lobster Thermidor is a classic French dish made with cooked lobster meat, creamy sauce, and cheese.


Ingredients

  • 2 cooked lobsters
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup grated Gruyère cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Remove the meat from the cooked lobsters and chop it into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Melt butter in a pan and sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.
  4. Add white wine and simmer until reduced by half.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream and Dijon mustard, cooking until thickened.
  6. Add the lobster meat, salt, and pepper to the sauce.
  7. Fill the lobster shells with the mixture and top with grated Gruyère cheese.
  8. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is golden.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
