Description
Lentil wraps are healthy, gluten-free alternatives to traditional wraps, made from lentils and spices.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup lentils
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh vegetables for filling
Instructions
- Rinse the lentils under cold water.
- Combine lentils, water, salt, cumin, and turmeric in a pot.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Drain excess water and blend the mixture until smooth.
- Heat a non-stick pan and pour a ladle of the mixture to form a wrap.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Repeat until all mixture is used.
- Fill wraps with fresh vegetables and serve.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- These wraps can be frozen for later use.
- Experiment with different spices for variety.
