Description

Lentil wraps are healthy, gluten-free alternatives to traditional wraps, made from lentils and spices.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup lentils
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh vegetables for filling

Instructions

  1. Rinse the lentils under cold water.
  2. Combine lentils, water, salt, cumin, and turmeric in a pot.
  3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  4. Drain excess water and blend the mixture until smooth.
  5. Heat a non-stick pan and pour a ladle of the mixture to form a wrap.
  6. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Repeat until all mixture is used.
  8. Fill wraps with fresh vegetables and serve.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container.
  • These wraps can be frozen for later use.
