Description

Lentil bread rolls are soft, nutritious, and perfect for sandwiches or as a side.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup lentils, cooked
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add cooked lentils, olive oil, and salt to the yeast mixture.
  3. Gradually add flour and knead until smooth.
  4. Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour.
  5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Divide the dough into small balls and place them on a baking tray.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
