A simple and delicious lasagna flatbread recipe that combines traditional lasagna flavors with a quick flatbread base.
Ingredients
- Flatbreads – 4 pieces
- Ricotta cheese – 1 cup
- Shredded mozzarella cheese – 2 cups
- Ground beef – 1 pound
- Marinara sauce – 2 cups
- Parmesan cheese – 1/2 cup
- Italian seasoning – 1 teaspoon
- Salt – to taste
- Pepper – to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the beef. Stir and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Spread a layer of ricotta cheese on each flatbread.
- Add a layer of the beef mixture on top of the ricotta.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the beef.
- Place the flatbreads on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing.
Notes
- Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for extra flavor.
- Use store-bought flatbread for convenience.
