Description

Jerk Meatballs in Coconut Curry Sauce is a flavorful dish combining spicy meatballs with a creamy sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tbsp jerk seasoning
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 can (14 oz) coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp curry powder
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef, jerk seasoning, breadcrumbs, and egg.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs.
  4. Place meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
  5. In a pan, heat oil over medium heat and sauté onion and garlic until soft.
  6. Add coconut milk and curry powder; stir well.
  7. Once meatballs are cooked, add them to the sauce.
  8. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  9. Serve hot with rice.

Notes

  • Adjust the spice level by using more or less jerk seasoning.
  • Serve with cilantro for added flavor.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
