Italian stuffed cabbage rolls are savory rolls filled with a mixture of meat, rice, and spices, wrapped in tender cabbage leaves.

- 1 large head of cabbage
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parmesan cheese for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil and blanch cabbage leaves for 2 minutes.
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, cooked rice, onion, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Place a spoonful of the meat mixture onto each cabbage leaf and roll tightly.
- Place rolls seam-side down in a baking dish.
- Pour tomato sauce over the rolls.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove foil, sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top, and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
Notes
- Use cooked rice for best results.
- Feel free to add other spices to taste.
- Serve with crusty bread for a complete meal.
