Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.
- Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- Fold in nuts and dried fruit.
- Shape the dough into logs and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden.
- Cool slightly, then slice into cookies.
- Return to the oven for an additional 10 minutes.
