Description

A hearty and easy-to-make casserole dish featuring ground beef, potatoes, and vegetables.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 large potatoes, sliced
  • 1 cup carrots, sliced
  • 1 cup green beans, chopped
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and onion over medium heat.
  3. Drain excess fat.
  4. In a large bowl, mix the beef, sliced potatoes, carrots, green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, and pepper.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour.
  7. Remove foil and sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.
  8. Bake for an additional 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

  • Feel free to add other vegetables.
  • Use any type of cheese you prefer.
  • This dish can be prepared a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
