Description

A classic Japanese dish made with rice, vegetables, and seasonings cooked on a hibachi grill.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked rice
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or hibachi grill over medium heat.
  2. Add mixed vegetables and cook until tender.
  3. Push the vegetables to one side and scramble the eggs on the other side.
  4. Combine the rice with the vegetables and eggs.
  5. Add soy sauce and sesame oil, stirring to combine.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Add green onions and mix well.
  8. Serve hot.
