Description

A simple and flavorful herb chicken rice dish.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups of jasmine rice
  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 2 cups of chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon of dried rosemary
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Season chicken thighs with salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary.
  4. Add chicken to the pot and brown on both sides.
  5. Remove chicken and set aside.
  6. Add jasmine rice to the pot and stir for a few minutes.
  7. Add chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  8. Place chicken back in the pot, cover, and reduce heat to low.
  9. Cook for 20-25 minutes until rice is tender.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
