Description

A hearty and flavorful casserole featuring layers of hamburger, cheese, and pasta.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups cooked pasta
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef and onion until browned.
  3. Add diced tomatoes, kidney beans, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  4. In a large baking dish, layer half of the cooked pasta.
  5. Add the beef mixture on top of the pasta.
  6. Sprinkle half of the cheese over the beef mixture.
  7. Layer the remaining pasta and top with the rest of the cheese.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly.

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider adding bell peppers.
  • Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
