A hearty and flavorful casserole featuring layers of hamburger, cheese, and pasta.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups cooked pasta
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef and onion until browned.
- Add diced tomatoes, kidney beans, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
- In a large baking dish, layer half of the cooked pasta.
- Add the beef mixture on top of the pasta.
- Sprinkle half of the cheese over the beef mixture.
- Layer the remaining pasta and top with the rest of the cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider adding bell peppers.
- Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
- This casserole can be frozen for later use.
