Description
A hearty and creamy ground beef stroganoff served over noodles.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 ounces egg noodles
Instructions
- Cook egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add onions and garlic to the skillet. Cook until soft.
- Add mushrooms and cook until tender.
- Stir in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a simmer.
- Mix flour with a little water to make a slurry. Stir into the skillet.
- Reduce heat and add sour cream. Stir until heated through.
- Serve over cooked egg noodles.
Notes
- For a lighter version, use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream.
- You can add peas for extra vegetables.
- Adjust seasoning to your preference.
