Description

Golden Turkey Dijon Melts are quick and easy meals perfect for lunch or dinner.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 slices of whole grain bread
  • 8 ounces sliced turkey
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 4 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Spread Dijon mustard on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Layer turkey and cheese on the unbuttered side of two slices.
  3. Top with the other two slices of bread, mustard side down.
  4. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Place sandwiches in the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Remove from skillet, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use your favorite type of cheese.
  • Add spinach or other veggies for extra flavor.
