- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup Gochujang
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
- Mix in Gochujang, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Drop tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
- Allow cookies to cool on the sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
- Store cookies in an airtight container.
- You can adjust the amount of Gochujang for spiciness.
- For a festive touch, add chopped nuts.
