Description

Ingredients

  • 500g gnocchi
  • 400g canned diced tomatoes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 100g mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté the onion until translucent.
  3. Add garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Stir in the diced tomatoes and oregano. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Simmer the sauce for 10 minutes.
  6. Cook the gnocchi according to package instructions, then drain.
  7. Combine the gnocchi with the tomato sauce.
  8. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with mozzarella cheese.
  9. Bake for 20 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
