Description

This is a gluten free French bread baguette that is crusty on the outside and soft on the inside.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups gluten free all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 packet instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Add gluten free flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture.
  4. Mix until a dough forms. Let it rise for 30 minutes.
  5. Shape the dough into a baguette and place it on a baking sheet.
  6. Let it rise for another 15 minutes.
  7. Score the top of the baguette with a sharp knife.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
