Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1/4 cup melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat your waffle iron.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat eggs, then add milk, molasses, and melted butter.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Pour batter onto the preheated waffle iron and cook according to manufacturer’s instructions.
- Serve warm with syrup or whipped cream.
Notes
- You can add chocolate chips for extra flavor.
- Store leftover waffles in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
