Description

A simple and flavorful pasta dish with garlic, lemon, and broccoli.


Ingredients

  • 200g pasta
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese, grated (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions.
  2. In the last 3 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli to the pasta pot.
  3. Drain the pasta and broccoli, reserving some pasta water.
  4. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  5. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  6. Add the drained pasta and broccoli to the skillet.
  7. Mix in lemon juice, zest, salt, and pepper.
  8. Add reserved pasta water as needed to create a sauce.
  9. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
