Description

Garlic butter steak bites served with creamy mashed potatoes.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 lbs potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Season the steak with salt and pepper.
  2. In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the steak bites and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  5. Remove steak bites from the skillet and set aside.
  6. In a large pot, boil the diced potatoes until tender, about 15 minutes.
  7. Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
  8. Add milk, sour cream, and remaining butter to the potatoes.
  9. Mash until smooth and creamy.
  10. Serve steak bites over mashed potatoes.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add herbs like parsley or thyme.
