Ingredients

- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 lbs potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sour cream
Instructions
- Season the steak with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
- Add the steak bites and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Remove steak bites from the skillet and set aside.
- In a large pot, boil the diced potatoes until tender, about 15 minutes.
- Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
- Add milk, sour cream, and remaining butter to the potatoes.
- Mash until smooth and creamy.
- Serve steak bites over mashed potatoes.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add herbs like parsley or thyme.
- Adjust seasoning to your preference.
