  • 1 lb (450 g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups (300 g) corn kernels, fresh, frozen, or canned
  • 4 tablespoons (60 g) unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt, adjust to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice, optional
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the shrimp by thawing if frozen and patting dry.
  2. Heat a large cast iron skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil, and cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
  3. Remove the shrimp and set aside. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium, add butter, and melt.
