- 1 loaf of bread, cubed
- 6 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
- Add the cubed bread to the mixture and gently fold to coat.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Drizzle the melted butter on top.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use any type of bread you like.
- Can be prepared a day ahead and refrigerated overnight.
- Top with syrup or fresh fruit for serving.
