Ingredients

  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm water and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add sugar, melted butter, salt, and eggs. Mix well.
  3. Gradually add flour, mixing until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes on a floured surface.
  5. Place dough in a greased bowl and cover. Let it rise for 1 hour.
  6. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  7. Punch down the dough and shape into rolls.
  8. Place rolls on a baking sheet and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
