Description
A popular Filipino dish made of thin pastry filled with meat and vegetables.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1 cup minced green beans
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 pack lumpia wrappers
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground pork, carrots, green beans, onions, soy sauce, and water.
- Mix until well combined.
- Take a lumpia wrapper and place a spoonful of the mixture on one edge.
- Roll the wrapper tightly, folding the sides in as you go.
- Seal the end with a bit of water.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Fry the lumpia until golden brown on all sides.
- Drain on paper towels before serving.
Notes
- Serve with sweet and sour sauce or vinegar dip.
- Can be made ahead and frozen before frying.
