Description
A spicy and creamy ramen dish featuring tender chicken, garlic, and a rich sauce.
Ingredients
- Ramen noodles: 200 grams (about 7 oz)
- Chicken breast: 300 grams (about 10.5 oz), diced
- Garlic: 4 cloves, minced
- Soy sauce: 3 tablespoons
- Chili paste: 2 tablespoons (adjust to taste)
- Green onions: 2, sliced
- Sesame oil: 1 tablespoon
- Heavy cream: 1/2 cup (120 ml)
- Chicken broth: 4 cups (1 liter)
- Olive oil: 1 tablespoon (for cooking)
- Salt and pepper: to taste
Instructions
- Season the diced chicken breast with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add soy sauce, chili paste, and chicken broth, then simmer for 5 minutes.
- Cook ramen noodles in boiling water according to package instructions, usually about 3-4 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and fold in the cooked ramen noodles, ensuring they are well coated with the sauce.
- Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions and a drizzle of sesame oil.
Notes
- Adjust the spice level by modifying the amount of chili paste.
- Consider adding vegetables like bok choy or bell peppers for extra nutrition.
- Soft-boiled eggs make a great topping for added richness.
- Store components separately if preparing ahead of time to maintain texture.
